Roman stopped the car, in the middle of the road it was very late at night so not a lot of cars were moving around.
He looked over at Reyna, as tears slipped down her eyes.
She got pregnant, he got her pregnant and he left her alone. He didn't know she would, he never thought about things to that extent that one night could lead to that.
“I—” The words got stuck in his throat he didn't even know what to tell her.
Apologizing wouldn't change a thing, he had said sorry to her so many times, but the weight of what he had done sorry couldn't fix those things.
Leaving her pregnant was the worst of things he could have done to her.
“Where is the child?” He managed to ask her, he was the father of a five year old boy or girl and that child grew up not having a father around.
