Roger looked at her, his eyes boring into Jessica’s. Roger thought she was the most selfish person; she did not understand him at all! He closed his eyes and sighed. Jessica Brown was really the cause of destruction for him. Perhaps, she just atoned for her sin and never thought of their future from the beginning. Was he the stupid one here? Was he hopelessly pining after someone that could never be his?
