Inside the car…
My head was leaning against the back seat where I sat, with both my eyes closed when suddenly, the screeching sound of the car tyre made me open my eyes.
“Miss, we have arrived.” the driver said as I immediately peeked through the window glass and realized we were in front of the gate of my building. Oh, so soon. The thought of how deeply I was thinking made me not realize I was already in front of my gate.
“Thanks,” I thanked the driver and stepped down from the car without saying more words to him as I began to walk towards my gate. I turned back and saw the car as it drove away before I returned my gaze to the gate. I didn’t have to knock because my gatekeeper was quick to notice my presence from the CCTV camera and for that, he opened the gate and I walked in
