At Derek's house…
Kate walked out from her room as she walked into the sitting room where she saw Scott sitting on the couch, holding the remote control and focusing on the television.
“The full moon is tonight. Few minutes to… where is your brother?” She asked as she looked at the wall clock with a worried face and saw it was almost midnight and yet, Derek is not yet back.
“He will be fine.” Scott replied with his eyes still fixed on the television.
“I lost your father already. I don't want to lose any of my sons.” She walked towards the window and peeked through it, but didn't see a trace of Derek as she could now see how heavy the rain was becoming.
