The man's eyes narrowed slightly, and without paying her any mind, he walked away.
He didn't tell her where he was going, but he left the house.
Shortly after, Tong Hua got out of bed too, thinking he must be going to work, right? After all, if she got pregnant, he would need to earn money for formula milk, and the burden on his shoulders would be heavier.
Today, she had plans to meet her friend Shuran and help out at the Fairy Tale Inn. Just as she was about to leave, her phone suddenly rang, displaying an unfamiliar number.
Tong Hua answered, and the person on the other end asked directly, "Are you Tong Hua?"
"Hello, yes, I am."
"Hello, this is the design department of Junyu Group. Congratulations, you've been hired. Come in to report now. The detailed address and office floor have been sent to you. I'm Director Zhang."
Tong Hua was utterly stunned!
A month ago, when she sent out her resume without much hope, she didn't expect to receive a response.

She could hardly believe her ears!
"Tong Hua? Are you still there?" the voice on the other end prompted.
"Yes, yes, thank you, Director Zhang!" She was ecstatic.
"Although you don't have any work experience, we have carefully reviewed the work you submitted, and it is indeed very distinctive."
"Thank you for your affirmation, Director Zhang! I'll come right away!"
After the call ended, Tong Hua intentionally opened her suitcase and picked out a goose-yellow dress to wear. It was the highest-grade clothing in her suitcase, bought for a thousand yuan last year in Sanya.
After getting in a taxi and heading out, she called Shuran to inform her that she had been hired by Junyu Group and wouldn't be going to the Fairy Tale Inn today.

"I feel like I'm dreaming too." In fact, for Tong Hua, being able to enter a big company like Junyu Group, even if the salary was lower, she would be very satisfied.
When she arrived at the entrance of Junyu Group, she saw rows of staff in suits and leather shoes standing outside the glass doors, each one tall and handsome, clearly professionally trained, as if they were welcoming some big shot.

Looking through the glass doors into the lobby, she saw many people inside.
This grand scene was probably because all the leaders of various departments were present, as everyone was dressed formally, older in age, with work badges hanging from their chests, all looking spirited and not daring to be sloppy.
Tong Hua had only seen this kind of scene on the news and couldn't help feeling a sense of solemnity.
Summoning up her courage, she reluctantly entered, but she realized she was completely out of place in this environment, with her goose-yellow dress amidst the solemn dark colors.
"Which department are you from? What are you doing here?"
Jiang Nan, the director of the design department, strode over in a smart black suit, frowning sternly. "Didn't your leader tell you what the occasion is now?"
Tong Hua quickly read the woman's work badge and said sincerely, "Sorry, Director Jiang, my name is Tong Hua, I'm a new designer. I just received a call from Director Zhang this morning and rushed over..."
Jiang Nan's face changed. "I see you're asking for trouble! Can't you see the situation right now?!"
"..." Tong Hua was a little confused by the scolding, not knowing where she went wrong.

After hanging up, Jiang Nan stared coldly at Tong Hua. "The new CEO is about to arrive. Don't take the elevator upstairs. Find a place to hide!"
"Yes, Director Jiang." Tong Hua hadn't figured out what was going on yet. She quickly retreated into the crowd, wondering who the new CEO was and what the old CEO was.
Carefully retreating, she finally hid among the crowd and heard some whispers—
"Why is he taking office ahead of schedule? Wasn't it supposed to be next month?"
"I heard the new CEO is very young, only 23 years old. His resume shows that he graduated with dual doctoral degrees from the world's number one ranked school at the age of 20. He's a recognized business prodigy."
