(Scarlett’s POV)
My informants were efficient, their whispers carrying truths Sarah and Daniel had no idea were being delivered straight to me. I sat at my desk, the light of the lamp casting a faint glow over the termination documents still sitting there. When my informant’s voice entered my mind, I immediately straightened.
"Sarah’s furious," the voice said through our secure mindlink.
I chuckled softly before leaning back into my chair. "Of course she is. Why wouldn’t she be? Let me guess—it’s because Victoria put her in her place?"
"You’re right," they confirmed. "Victoria warned her to back off from using Grace to manipulate Alexander. The Amber Pack is clearly losing patience with them both, especially with Grace causing so much drama."
