Fury radiated off Alexander in waves. His disheveled hair and the tension in his clenched fists were clear indicators of his foul mood.
“You’ve got some nerve, Scarlett,” he spat.
His eyes darted to the amulet still in my hand before locking onto mine, sharp and accusing. “You’ll do anything to get away from me and the Winters Pack, won’t you?” he sneered. “Seduce powerful Alphas, play the victim, and manipulate alliances?”
