The air in the room felt thick. Roman’s presence always carried a weight, the kind that made everyone instinctively want to submit.
His icy blue eyes were locked on Daniel, his gaze lethal, as though he were deciding whether or not to end him right there. And judging by the way Daniel’s face paled, he could feel that weight pressing down hard.
