I sat in the polished oak chair at the Winter Pack council hall, carefully arranging my features into a perfect mask of fragility. Inside, I was practically singing with victory as I watched Sarah pacing before the council members.
"We must restrict Scarlett's access to our resources immediately," Sarah declared, her voice carrying the authority of her Luna position. "Until she comes to her senses and accepts her responsibilities."
