Chapter 31: Dangerous Aftermath
(Alexander's POV)
I stumbled out of Scarlett's territory, my hand pressed tightly to my neck where blood still seeped from the shallow wound. The humiliation burned more than the pain. My head pounded, Mason’s howl of fury echoing louder than my thoughts. His rage bled into mine, fueling the fire clawing at my chest as I trudged to my car.
Jason was already waiting at the pack house gates when I arrived. The moment I stepped out of the vehicle, his expression darkened. His eyes scanned me, widening in alarm as he took in my disheveled appearance and the blood staining my shirt.
“Alpha!" he exclaimed, rushing to my side. "What happened? Are you injured? Who did this?”
