“What are we gonna do now?” I whispered to Alexei, keeping my eyes trailed onto the television blasting some kind of music channel. “I don’t think we can escape in this one.”
He smiled knowingly at me, barely blinking as he hummed along to the song.
“What time is it?” I asked again, looking around for clocks. My watch stopped working from when I fell down the parking lot earlier. Now it’s just making weird ticking noises but not even moving an inch.
“You know how we can escape?” Alexei suddenly asked and the two men guarding the door that was the only way out apart from the glass wall looked at us with alarm.
“How?” I asked, silently hoping he wouldn’t describe exactly what he was planning while those two are still in here.
