The sound of the ocean in constant pursuit of the shore always brings that familiar giddy sensation in me. It calms whatever thought I have inside my head, stirs my emotions into something more pleasant; serene. This in itself is a constant reminder of what my life is and, quite possibly, will forever be. I remember that line I used to say over and over again. I heard it somewhere and now it’s been a really big part of my life. “Because there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.” It’s nice. Listening to the sound of the ocean while the wind brushes against your skin; the night sky looking down at you with that constant playful spark; the calmness; the quietness; it’s surreal.
