Heavyn's POV
I saw my mother look a bit worried at what the Prince said.
"Honey, can we talk to you? It is important," she asked. I nod my head and we head over to the ladies room.
"Dear, is this the best thing to do? Stay in the palace with the royal family? What will the other family members say?" she asked. I sighed.
"I actually told him before this that we do not have to stay in the palace and he had agreed. But, he then insisted on helping us find a new place to live in and actually wanted to pay for it for Destiny and I," I said.
"What? He wants to pay for the new place for the both of you? We cannot accept that. Not from someone of higher magnitude as him," she said.
"I know. I said Yes, but he doesn't know that I plan to apply to work as a maid in the palace to help repay all his kindness," I said.
"That's alright. Let me know what happens from now on, honey. Just text me with whatever you need," she said. I nodded.
"I will, mom. Where will you go with dad? Do you think that you will both be okay at the summer island? That's the only place that I think that you both will be safe is there, right?" I asked.
"We were deciding on heading there or to a secure hotel just for tonight and then head there tomorrow morning," she said. We hug and head back to see Prince Rex and Destiny talking together.
I head to them and see Destiny laughing. Prince Devin and my dad talking. My dad sees me and motions for my mom and I to come over.
"Dad, is everything alright? What have you both been talking about?" I asked.
Prince Devin is not saying anything right now, since he answered the phone. 'Hey babe, yeah, we'll be home soon. Why are you asking? Aren't you supposed to be here in two days?' he asked.
Something she must have said had surprised him because the next thing he said was, 'What do you mean you are home already? What happened?' My dad walks away with mom and I am still there by Prince Devin, shyly rubbing my arm and slowly sidestepping.
"I should leave. Excuse me, Your Highness," I say, before walking away. I hear him sigh and take a deep breath as I walk away. That means nothing I know.
"Des, we gotta go now. Let's go get our stuff and head to a nearby hotel. We can start looking for a new place to live in while we're there too," I said. Destiny just nods and we head to the locker room to get our belongings.
"Wait! Why are you two going to stay in the hotel? I thought my brother said we can have you stay with us for the night and helping find and pay for your new place, right? Did something happen?" Prince Rex asked.
"You should go and ask him yourself, okay? But, our mind is made up, okay? We are going to go to a hotel tonight, so please excuse us," I said. He sighed and walked over to his brother.
"Why are we going to a hotel instead? Didn't they want to help us out? Did something really happen?" Destiny asked.
"Because their engaged brides are at the palace and I don't want to get into any trouble with them. I'm not jealous or anything before you say anything, just trying to prevent anymore drama before it happens, you know?" I say.
She nods her head and says, "I totally agree. We should do that, so we don't cause any issues."
We grab our bags and start heading out the club, but Prince Devin heads towards us.
"Where are you ladies going? We are about to head out now too," Prince Devin asked.
"We are going to a hotel like I said earlier, while you were talking on the phone. We now know that your future brides are at the palace and we definitely don't want any trouble with them or the rest of the family, alright?" I said.
"No, we are not letting that happen. You are coming with us to the palace this instant, because we need to keep you both safe," Prince Devin ordered.
I clench my fists tightly and scream out, "Stop ordering us around! Just because you are royalty doesn't mean that you have the right to order us around like this! Watch your tone around us, do you hear me?!" I took a huge deep breath and actually froze. I just realized what I just yelled out to them.
The Princes.
"What did you just say? Did you just raise your voice at us?" Prince Rex asked, shocked.
Prince Devin is not saying anything, because he is silently seething. "Well, since you think this way, then you both can go ahead and go to the hotel and stay there if you think that is what is right for you. We just wanted to help and keep you safe from being hurt again if anything were to happen and they were able to get out of jail, but I guess there's no longer a need too. Let's go, Rex. Now," he said.
Prince Rex and Destiny are just looking at each other in shock.
"Fine then. Destiny, let's go. We can take care of ourselves since this has happened before. People come into our lives wanting to supposedly help us but get tired because of us not wanting to cause trouble for them, and I'm tired of this. I'm sleepy, tired and want to be in a bed soon," I say, not looking at Prince Devin, while beginning to walk away.
He must have realized the reason as to why we were going to the hotel and before I could even get out the door, he picked me up bridal style.
"Put me down! Now!" I yelled, squirming to get down from him. He just glares at me and for some reason, I stop fighting him to get down. He stops in front of a limo and opens the door. He places me on the seat and I try to get back up to get out, but he pushes me back down on the seat. Destiny tries to help me but Prince Rex gets a hold of her and takes her to another vehicle and Prince Devin shuts the door.
He begins to move towards me and I back away to the other side of the limo.
"Excuse me driver! Can you please stop driving? We are not going to the same place, please stop the car!" I plead with him.
"Ignore her, James. Keep driving to the palace, please. Thanks," he said, while closing the mini window. "Why are you jealous of our future wives being back at the palace? Did you start having feelings for me?" he asked.
I nervously chuckle. "What? No -- We can never work anyway because of our status. Please, don't say such a thing," I say.
