Her

Prince Devin's POV   I watch Heavyn walk away with her sister, Destiny. Why does she think this way? What makes her think she and I would not work? Well, I guess we will just have to see about that then, right? I see my brother motioning for me to follow him and I head over to him.  "What's good? Something up?" I asked.  "So, what's the next plan for the ladies? Are you really letting them leave tomorrow morning? Just because of our fiancees? Or what do you think we should do to make them stay here?" he asked.  "I was thinking the same thing, but nothing is coming to mind. I think we can hide their belongings and then they cannot leave because they will not have anything to take with them. How about that?" I said. He laughed.  "Taking their stuff? That is something the young people would do! We are older than that. How about we tell them that we cannot find anywhere for them and they will have to stay here until we do?" he says.  I scratch my chin and say, "Hmmm. That could actually work. Let's try this out,"  Only did I not realize that Heavyn had heard us from outside the room. I wouldn't find this out until tomorrow morning, of course. My brother and I head to bed.    ~The next morning~  I hear yelling coming from downstairs. I quickly get up and make sure everything is alright! Least of my issues, was Princess Layla there yelling loudly at Heavyn and Destiny. I can honestly say it was probably for no reason too.  "What is going on here?! Why are you shouting so loud and obnoxiously, Layla?! What has gotten into you?! Does this look like a zoo to you?!" I shouted at her.  She stopped yelling and stared in my direction.  "Baby, who are these two ladies? And why are they here? They are regular people and trespassers. Why are you yelling at me?" she asked.  "Did you just call them regular people? Aren't you a regular person also? What makes you different from them?" I asked, angrily.  She gasped. "Are you defending them and not me? Your own future Queen? The future First Lady of this land?" she asked, in shock.  "I sure am. Don't forget that we are just marrying for business and nothing else. I don't even love you in any way, shape or form. Your attitude towards other people is disgusting and that's not what I need by my side," I said. She gasped, trying to hold back her tears.  Heavyn gasped. "He didn't mean that, Princess Layla. You are a gracious woman and he was just angry. He does love you and he just said this out of his morning anger, which is forgivable. Believe me, he didn't mean anything just now," she said. Princess Layla looked at her and sighed.  "Well, why exactly are you both here? How did you get here?" she asked, calmly.  "They saved us from our abusive ex-boyfriends last night at the club they were at. Even though they didn't have to, they decided to help my sister and I out. I told them that I didn't want any trouble but they were very persistent on them continuing to help us. But, we will be out of your hair, as we are leaving right now, to our new place. So, you will never have to bother with us again and you can keep on going on with the both of  your happily ever afters," she said.  I clenched my teeth and fists together tightly. I storm over to Heavyn.  "Where do you think you're going too? We didn't say that you could leave and we didn't find the place that you can go too!" I warned. She just kept talking to Princess Layla and acted as if I was not there.  "Oh my. That's so sad and I'm glad that they were there to help you both. Could have been worse if there was no proof and you both had no way to get out," Princess Layla said.  "Yes, it could have been. That's why we are forever grateful to them for what they have done for us. Because I know they didn't have too," Heavyn said, with a warm smile. I see her trying to stop herself from saying something she might not want to say or might feel like she will not want to say.  Heavyn picked up her bags and started to head out the door and I had the urge to stop her from leaving and that's what I did. I quickly rushed over to her and stood in front of her and Destiny.  "Don't leave. You don't have to go. You both will be safe and sound here. No one will know that you're here or bother you, apart from your family and close friends that you wish to tell. We will not take away your privileges or stop you from doing what you would like to do, trust us when we say this," I say, hoping they will change their mind and stay.  "Please don't try and stop us. We cannot intrude on you anymore," she said, picking up her bags. But, knowing me, I grabbed them from her and headed back to my room.  She wasn't going anywhere even if I had to keep her here forever. I don't know what it is about her but she is someone that I don't want to lose.  And I won't lose her. Ever.
