Heavyn's POV
What did he just say? He can't do this!
"Your Highness, you can't do that! You are of royal importance! You need to stay being a royal!" I shouted.
"Stay out of this, Heavyn! I have been waiting a long time to do this! My father doesn't care about his family. He only cares about his so-called duties to the people of the land. He can't even see when his own sons are not happy with their engaged ladies of status. He only wants us to do what he thinks is best," he said.
"How dare you speak to me like this?! You do realize that everything I am doing for you both is to better yourselves and the land in which you will be the future leader of! How is this wrong of me?!" the King yelled.
"Stop it now! Both of you have no right to be fighting with one another! You are father and son above everything!" I shouted. They stop yelling and look at me.
"Your Highnesses, please don't fight. Don't say things that you might regret in the long run. But, from my gratitude towards you and the royal family, I will plan their weddings free-of-charge as I am a bridal planner," I say.
Prince Devin mutters under his breath, 'We'll see about that.'
The king just looked at me in surprise.
"And why would you do that, young lady?" he asked.
"Because I have been through a lot and I want to give them my deepest gratitude because if not for them, my sister and I would not be here today. We had already been through so much and without them, my ex-boyfriend would have done much worse to me if he could," I said.
I see Jaxon walk into the room and everyone glares at him.
"Um, Heavyn. I am sorry for what I did to you back there. I should have listened to you and not taken you to him. Maybe this would not have happened to you. This is all my fault," he said. I sighed.
"Look, Jaxon. I forgive you and it's not your fault, alright? He had wanted to do this to me after getting me back but now he's being taken care of and I feel a lot safer than ever. You were persuaded by a maniac and deceived, so I know that you are not in the wrong," I said. Jaxon sighed.
"Why are you even here? This is not the environment you are welcome in," Prince Devin asked.
"Stay. You are welcome here, because I am allowing you to be here," I said.
Destiny asks, "Are you sure, sis? He lured you to Eze, right? Why should you forgive him? Why is he allowed to stay?"
"Because I have no hard feelings toward him alright? Leave it alone and I don't want to have him be pestered about it, alright?" I said.
"Alrighty then. If you say so," she said. Prince Devin just glares at Jaxon and mouths, 'I'm watching you.'
Princess Layla comes over to me and says, "Were you serious about helping us plan our wedding for free?"
"Yes, I was. So, there will be no hatred between the family for someone like me. Just let me know when you want to start planning for it," I said, trying to smile. She smiled and nodded.
"Alright, if possible, can you all head out? I will like to have a rest. I have been through so much as it is. Get home safe, please, as that's all that matters to me," I said.
Prince Devin and his family as well as Princess Layla head out after saying goodbye.
"Baby, let us know if anything happens, as we'll be at the nearest hotel. Alright? We'll be seeing you soon," our mom said. They hug me and I hug them back. They leave and Destiny sits beside me.
"Do you want me to leave too? Or should I stay with you?" she asked.
"You can stay, sis. I need some sisterly support," I said.
"Alright. Talk to me. Why did you say that you want to plan his wedding? Don't you love him?" she asked.
"Because he deserves to be with someone such as Princess Layla. It doesn't matter if I love him and have since he had saved us from the first time, we can never be together, and you know that," I said.
"That's the same way I feel about Prince Rex, but we can never be together either," she said, with a sigh.
Little did we know, Prince Devin and Prince Rex were outside the door. What will happen next? ...
