The grim discovery of all household pets found lifeless upon the rooftop echoed a haunting familiarity, reminiscent of events past. Elara's steadfast sister, Margaret, an unwavering skeptic of the supernatural, brushed off the unsettling occurrence. Swiftly, she orchestrated the removal of the deceased animals by municipal authorities, casting an illusion of normalcy once more.

Yet, as twilight cast its shadow, fate unfurled another twist. A harrowing car accident unfolded before Margaret's doorstep, drawing the community's swift response. Amongst them, the illustrious family of Margaret and Elara stood prominent, though the latter resided afar, her thespian pursuits guiding her beyond the city limits. With the injured stranger revealed to be a foreigner, devoid of Hindi fluency, the neighborhood turned to Margaret's linguistic prowess, ushering the wounded soul into her care.

Summoning medical aid, Margaret tended to the stranger's wounds, prescribing rest to combat the toll of her bleeding. It was decided that the guest, sheltered within Margaret's abode, would find solace in her care. The offering of pomegranate juice, a gesture of comfort amidst the turmoil, marked Margaret's earnest endeavor to assuage the stranger's suffering.

Yet, as the veil of night descended and Margaret ventured to check upon her charge, a chilling tableau greeted her. The enigmatic sight of the woman clutching a pigeon in her grasp, while a mirror reflected Margaret's own visage, instilled a palpable sense of foreboding.
