"What do you mean banished?" Had Frank gone mad! "You've got to be kidding me!"
The man currently in my living room is my best friend, aka my former beta, aka my informant. Frank had gone back to the pack and banished him right after storming out of my office. Apparently, he'd already known that Matt was helping me keep tabs on the pack, but since we didn't interfere with his plans, he'd let us keep communication.
The straw that broke the camel's back was me walking into his take-over meeting and making a mess out of it. Since he hadn't succeeded in taking his anger out on me, he'd turned to the next person in line, the main contributor to his failure today. My presence had foiled his plans and my presence was because of Matt.
