I glanced between my parents and the third person in the room, trying to make sense of the chaotic conversation unfolding around me. There was no way in hell this was real.
“Gabriel is back?! How did that happen?!” My father snapped, his voice rising in anger. His fists were clenched, and I could see the fury boiling beneath his skin.
The strange man nodded. “Yes, Gabriel’s Grace was hidden in a cave, and someone... someone stumbled upon it.” He paused, giving a glance between my parents, like he was unsure how much to share. “They broke the jar, and now... well, Gabriel’s possession is back, and it’s far from good.”
