She drew out her punch card and after registering her last day with the company, returned it to its slot. As much as she longed to be petulant and rip it up, or something, she needed the money. Outside, her eyes scanned the parking lot for her vehicle, and she made her way over to where it sat, gloomily looking at the waiting line of cars ready to exit the shopping center and fight their way to the beltway. Of course; it was rush hour. Damned Greg Wilson could have fired her earlier so she’d miss the traffic. It was inconsiderate of him, really. Inconsiderate bastard. She started her car.
