Regret overwhelmed her as she recalled her enjoyment of Nikolai being inside of her, and his promise of seeing her again. She soaped her body with the apricot-scented bar, trying hard not to think too much. If she thought too much, she might just walk out the door and never come back. CHAPTER NINE Welcome to the Firm Today she had her English and comportment class. Jocelyn sat at a tea table, across from a slim gentleman. They both were dressed impeccably; he wore a grey tux with tails and she a long, elegant dress of navy silk. Elbow length gloves of the same material covered her delicate hands, and she sipped her tea with trained grace. “So you find that the current administration is woefully inept in matters of social programs?” she prodded, reacting to his earlier statement.
