Harley’s P.O.V.
“Alpha, I am sorry about earlier. Can we discuss it?”
After clicking send, I let out a breath I didn’t know I was holding, and showed my phone to Lena.
“See, I have sent the text. Now what?”
“Now we wait.” Lena poured me another glass of wine and said. “Hopefully, Alpha will reply after your rudeness.”
Lena went out with friends for a night out, but later, she realized her hostel gates closed at 10:00pm. So, she came to my place with good alcohol, helping me ease my taut nerves. I was hell worried about Carlos’s behavior change.
As expected, Lena had the answers to all my queries. She listened to me carefully and then gave her expert opinion.
“Carlos is behaving like a typical jealous, insecure boyfriend who can’t see his woman with other males.”
