OUR BINDING REUNION OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS I hardly saw Weston. It was just me and a big, empty house. At least the piano was there to keep me company. And an entire library’s catalog of movies to watch. Then there was the homework, which I was struggling a bit to catch up on. Weston wasn’t kidding when he said he’d be working a lot. A few text messages passed throughout the day, but otherwise it was mostly silence. He would hug and kiss me goodbye in the morning, but had only been home in time for a late dinner one night. When he did come home, he encased my body with his, and I felt whole.
