In Memoriam In MemoriamIn MemoriamMarvin Nathan Kaye (1938-2021), the long-time editor of Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, helmed this publication from 2008 until this past spring. A talented writer of books and plays and an accomplished editor and anthologist in his own right, Marvin encouraged young writers and playwrights, often helping them break into the business. He acted on- and off-Broadway, as well as performing as a magician and mentalist. Well-known for his horror, science fiction, and fantasy books and anthologies, he won a World Fantasy Award in 2006 for his anthology The Fair Folk. Marvin also loved classic mysteries, especially the stories by Rex Stout, and was a charter member of The Wolfe Pack, a society devoted to Stout’s corpulent detective, Nero Wolfe. With permission
