'Kah!'Eva spat a mouthful of blood as she realized some of her bones were broken when she crashed into the wall.

Due to the impact, her head also hit the wall pretty hard and blood flowed down his face, dying his vision red. She tried getting up with the support of the wall.

'Ahh why did I not sense him and that hideous thing. I can even sense Elias buy w-why... Ah I guess they concealed their presence with some kind of techniques or object/artifact. I should not have accepted this mission ,

Nor should I had agreed to this deal. I would rather sleep on the streets than doing this s**t. But I can't turn back time now can I, so I have to keep on fighting', thought I as I tried to take out the healing potion that Alina secretly gave me out of pity.

I should have known that this is not a grade F mission, I bet it's a grade E or D commission. I just have to make it out alive while completing this mission since I'll die either way.

Somewhere outside of the secret entrance, on the roof stood Nick that seemed like he was trying to find something or rather someone.

"Where the hell did that little lass, Eva? This is the first time someone disappeared from my sight , maybe she discovered something . How interesting!"

He walked in the room he saw her before and looked around only to find a small trail that led to the statue. It seemed to be of high value and may be an ancient statue.

He carefully studied the old-looking statue and pressed the trigger button. A cave-like entrance welcomed him and he walked inside in a carefree manner.

Inside of the secluded room, Eva stood on her feet and she ripped the lower part of her maid's outfit as it was long and getting in the way. The 'chimera' was staring intently at me while keeping me in check.

Eliard was standing near the alter-looking, holding the necklace-like artifact in his left hand and he was chanting something in an alien language.

That necklace with a golden color gemstone aligned with silver on it is apparently called the 'Tears of Artemis' according to him .

He did not say much about it but apparently it is of great use of to a dark magician and it contain something that is in the ancient language as well as it contains some sort of technique.

And that guy managed to decipher some lines in it and that was how he was able to obtain a chimera and become this powerful.

I obtained all this information from the culprit himself , he seriously told me everything. He really an i***t who just got some lucky. That cheeky bastard I'm gonna show him that he underestimated me and I'll make him regret not killing me instantly.

The healing potion that I had drank 's effect started to kick in and I could see my wounds heal at a visible speed. I took the knife that I had kept on my clothes and took the poison I had brought to kill the count on my left hand.

The chimera didn't waste time as it engaged itself at me with its sharp claws and attacked me while I was busy soaking the knife in the poison. I figured that it would be vulnerable since only its tail would have immunity against poison.

I ducked and felt a slight pain on my cheeks. I barely dodged that attack would I even be able to kill it, thought I for a moment. 'I have to avoid being hit in my vital points. I stood back up and this time I launched an attack at the creature and it successfully hit it but unfortunately for me I got hit by the fire the chimera had breathed out as I was attacking.

I again crashed against the wall and threw up a mouthful of blooded , my breathing was unstable. "And I currently had no more potions with me, so I have to finish this quickly and conserve my energy to fight the other 'big boss' ", she mumbled under her breath.

She didn't waste anytime and tried to make the chimera unintentionally harm her master . She threw fireballs out of her mouth at me ,I dodged and the attack hit Eliard who was busy with his chants. It hit him and the alter altogether but it did not manage to take his life .

He looked my way and glared at me with his face flushed completely red due to the anger and annoyance. " What do you think you are doing you damnable creature , just kill her already", said Eliard while picking the necklace up.

Just as the chimera was about to attack again, the effects of the poison started to show. It kept coughing blood and the creature that seemed to be out of breath fell on the ground. It kept struggling until it breathed its last breath.

But that was not the end as Eliard had yet to die and I haven't acquired the artifact yet. I went near him with my knife. He was weak at the moment as the alter was his power source and he needed to sacrifice people to regain his powers but at present he would be unable to do so. He threw rocks and me and shouted in terror as he knew I would kill him and then he started pleading for his life. It was such a sorry sight to see but I know all too well what he was gonna do.

I knowingly dodged the knife he threw at me and crouched near him .

"Since you made me went so much trouble , I will kill you and I will torture while I'm at it . I cut all his fingers the his ears , nose, tongue ,hands, feet and then gorged his eyes out. I ripped his mouth open so he could not talk .

"Haha ha ", I laughed like a maniac and to think I was actually enjoying all this. "Hah this was fun but now its boring so just die", said I as I stabbed him in the heart.
