Ch 4 Getting Into Trouble

Somewhere in the territory of Ludiquech , stood a man in a black matrix .He was covered in blood and there was a sword in his right hand .

There was bodies littered on the ground that seemed to be of a kid, a woman and a man and two other figures were standing near the guy in black.

" Guild master Elias , may I know what we are looking for exactly, "asked the woman with violet , short hair.

" How dare you question master like that Alina, you damnable witch. Why did you even tag along if you didn't know i***t .That's why I told you to read the mission letter well," said the guy with black hair and eyes.

"Oh then why don't you tell me you doofus ",answered Alina.

"Stop acting like little kids Alina and Nick. We have already got what we needed so let's go", said Elias in a cold and commanding tone.

"Sorry master ",they both answered.

Elias looked at them emotionlessly and ordered them," Return first ,I'm going somewhere for now . Write the report and sort out the commissions and everything better be finished by the time I return ,understand."

"Yes master ",answered both of them. Then he disappeared in the darkness.

Four days have passed since that incident and Four month since I came to this world hasn't it, thought Eva.

It surprising I didn't find anyone looking for me , I either must have scared them out of their wits or they were too embarrassed to say anything about me but I still should be careful.

I have been stealing here and there and I sometimes even sneak into people's house.

I have to say it's kinda fun , I have also noticed that I have special abilities like I can detect if there is danger that are in my surroundings though I am not too sure if that is all it can do.

I could also speak to animals with my mind ,crazy right! At first it felt weird. I found that out two days ago when I was walking in an alleyway at night.

I was looking for a new place to stay because I was afraid they would find me and corner me as well as kill me. I suddenly felt someone no three people behind me, following me to be precise.

I climbed on the roof and hid myself well, on that roof there was an owl that was looking at me with its big eyes.

I was quite surprised to find out that I could hear it speak, I almost thought that I had gone crazy, that I lost my mind.

But I tried too see if I heard wrong and unexpectedly I was really able to hear it. And I heard from it that those guys that was following me was John, Fred and their father, the inn owner also my murderer.

I confirmed it by looking down and it was them. Since that day I have been escaping from them thanks to my skill.

I thought they had given up but to think they had been following my tracks. But they stopped soon after when they could not find me even after two whole weeks. And thanks to them I soon got used to it thinking that it was part of my traits.

Anyway I feel so dirty today ,maybe it's because I fell into the mud while running away from the fruit vendor.

He managed to almost catch me but I still escaped after getting hit with a rock on the head. That hurt but it did not bleed.

And I also smell disgusting. I think there I heard that is a lake not too far in the forest near the city gate. I never went pass the gate as I was afraid of the dangers that surrounded it.

But I soon got reassured when I heard one of the citizens saying that only at the deeper part of the forest that you may encounter some dangers. So I decided not to venture deeper in the forest just to be safe.

I went near the gates and I created a diversion , so that I can sneak out without the guards knowing. When all their attention fell onto the pebbles that I threw on them, I sneaked in and quickly ran inside the forest that seemed dense.

I walked for a few hours in the forest while avoiding some wild beasts like a plague that I saw from up the trees. I then spotted a beautiful lake, there were all kinds of colorful fishes in it.

I climbed down and went near it but before I jumped into the water I threw a stone in the water to check if there was any danger inside.

Nothing came out ,so I felt reassured. I looked at the crystal clear water and saw that it was not too deep but a little shallow.

" Wow how pretty ",I said in awe as I looked at myself in it.

I took off my clothes without hesitation and jumped into the what river. I rubbed my skin smoothly with the clear ,warm water and washed off all the mud out of my body.

I watched my reflection and was quite shocked. I had pale white skin , silver eyes that seemed to shone like the stars at night ,and silver hair that almost looked white.

'Wow to think I'm so cute , I wonder ,I may become a drop-dead beauty in the near future.'

'I guess I really have unusual hair color, is that why they called me cursed?, well whatever.'

I continued to enjoy my bath, the water was quite warm and I enjoyed it a lot as it was soothing and relaxing which made me want to float.

Suddenly I sensed a presence approaching me . I got out of the water in such a hurry that I almost tripped since I was so little and wore my decent yet ragged clothes.

I looked into the direction where the danger was and grabbed the dagger that I had stolen from two days ago from a passer-by.

" Come out ,I know you are there!", I shouted with a slight fear in it.
