The morning sun streamed through the large windows of Riley and Alistair’s home, filling the space with a warm, golden glow. It was another day in the week they had been given to spend with Sam, and excitement filled the air. Riley checked the time on her phone and turned to Alistair, who was setting up a small play area in the living room.
