[ Adelaide Knowles ] I got out of the building, past the parking lot, and into the main road. There were not many cars on the street and I was so sure Christian Castillo wouldn't have cared whether I made it to his estate or not in his car and with a designated driver. The chill breeze splashed smoothly across my face. I pulled the blanket I had used earlier, closer to my body as I walked barefoot.
