I am done trying to look past addressing the big fat elephant weighed in between us. All this time was me seeking the courage to do what I have always wanted. Seven years ago, I watched this man waltz into my life, upturn it without a sweat and now he is making me his playtoy. Yet, all I can do is yearn for his presence. For his touch. For him. As cruel as whatever he gives me may be. Today is different. Today, I am a ball of guts and I don’t seem to mind if the world is lit on fire right now, just by the thick silence overshadowing the space between us, I don’t seem to mind my toes tingling under the intensity of his piercing green eyes, baring into me like he could unravel my soul and feel the core of my existence.
