She remained silent for a few minutes before shaking her head.
— No. My family and even Garrett expected me to ask him to start feeding on animals once he moved in with my coven, but I couldn't ask him to do that. Nina, I believe every person has the right to choose and maintain their preferred food choices. We are both killers in our own way. Just because I kill animals doesn’t make me superior to him. He didn’t ask me to change my diet, so how could I force him to change his? Of course, if he hadn’t been okay with it, I would have offered him the choice, but he didn’t seem to have that problem.
