Being an empath sucks.
There’s really no better way to describe it. The ability of Pathokinesis, simply put, the ability to read and manipulate another person’s emotions, isn’t really a great power.
Trust me, I would know!
Now, it could have been fun if it came with an on and off switch. That would have been a lot of fun and much more convenient. Just turn it on when you want to, and otherwise keep it off. But as it stands, unfortunately for me, that’s a bit outside my realm of possibility. I have to know and witness what everyone is feeling, all the time! There’s just no pause… nowhere to escape to.
What’s a poor guy supposed to do in such a situation?
And that’s still not the worst part. The worst part is that I only get half a puzzle… an incomplete riddle to solve
