Nina narrating: — Humm… Victoria — I said, hesitantly, successfully stopping her and Peter. We were about to start our short journey to their home in Houston, Texas. Running, as they mentioned to me, was the most common and sensible way for a vampire to travel. My newly discovered kind rarely trusted the means of travel found by humans, which I grew up using and considering normal. Running was liberating, easier, and faster than any other means of transportation, that was their argument.
