Luke crouched down to attack Bruce, I crouched in response – no one was going to hurt my son in my presence. Luke was held back by Peter and Garrett.

Luke grimaced at him, but stayed by Nina’s side.
I stepped back as well, but kept my state of alertness, waiting for them to make the first move.
