He greeted all of us nervously and asked, “How was the lunch?”
Edward stood up dramatically, and looked at him with serious eyes, “you know, I have been coming here for ages. Especially after you took over as a chef. You also know my love for your spaghetti but today’s” he looked at Tristan with disappointment.
Tristan became more and more nervous with how Edward is going with it. He used the same disapproval tone, “today’s spaghetti” finally his tone changed, “were the best you have ever cooked. It was the best spaghetti I have ever had” he cheerfully hugged Tristan.
“Oh, I was so nervous! You were making me more and more nervous but I am happy that you enjoyed it” he looked at all of us, including Carol.
“And you all? Any remark or advice?” He thoughtfully asked.
