She walks with her face down on the floor, because she doesn't want to see the dismay on the faces of those people in the corridor, because of her messy looks on the first day of school.

She finally reached the room for her first subject, some fellow students were sitting and chatting, others were busy with their phones and others were reading. She chooses to sit in the front of the class. She just sat and waited till the class started.

An old man stood up in the center of the class and started to talk, introducing himself as Prof Santiago. He asked us to introduce ourselves, and then the normal goes. We spent almost 3 Hours on our first lecture.

Time passes by, and its time for lunch. She follows the crowd by going to the University canteen to get some snacks that her money can afford. Following the students, she reached the canteen without asking to anyone. She Stands behind the girl in the queue wearing a black short dress. Staring at her secretly, she is very sure that the bags and the dress of the girl will cost her yearly allowance.

"What is your order?" An old woman with very dark hair, as if she had just dyed her hair because of the black ink on her forehead.

‘How much is the cheeseburger?’ she asked, concerned about the price, maybe her money would not be enough. Luckily it is enough and she can buy a small juice as well. She got her order and decided to sit on the corner near the coffee vending machine, facing the machine so she wouldn't see how the people would look at her dirty uniform.

Silently chewing her cheeseburger, when a man with clean-cut hair, a brown complexion, and very tall, stands to get a coffee from a vending machine, he is wearing jeans, a white shirt, and white sneakers that look expensive and he is holding a varsity jacket, she can't see his face completely, because he is also facing the machine, but she saw how prominent his nose is. Before the man finishes getting his coffee, Mara stands up from her place to go back to their classroom. She reaches the classroom sits in her place and waits for their next subjects.
