Sniffling hard, I got up and rushed out of the front door, shaking with fear.
Grandma needed to be at the hospital as soon as possible. My heart pounded in my chest, and tears burned my eyes even as I squinted ahead at the driveway as the rain kept pouring down. The spot where I parked my car was empty.
I rushed down the porch, instantly getting drenched while I frantically looked around the compound but my car was gone.
