The day started off great as I indulged myself into work and made myself busy with the responsibilities here in the café. I took over the cashier’s responsibilities and asked my staff to just go and attend to customers and the tables. I wanted to keep on moving and talking just to not keep my thoughts on what has happened two nights ago.
Yes, it has been two nights and two days and I have never heard anything from Alex after that call. Nope. I didn’t initiate any means of conversation with him and I think he fully understood what I meant by taking our time alone to think and evaluate ourselves.
