As I woke up, my ears rang lodly. I clapped my hands to my ears and realised I didn't know what happened or where i was. The light was very bright since i hadn't adjusted quite yet, so i I squinted as soon as i woke. Hello? I said with a shaky voice

but there was no answer

I tried to stand up, but a sharp pain shot down my leg into my foot forcing me back to the ground with a large thud I cradled my foot to try and decrease any of the pain i had, I felt so fatigued and burnt out I had no energy left i had no idea why it was all gone I shuffled to the side to the wall and realised I was in a nightgown the sort you have in hospitals if your about to go into surgery.

chambering back up, i took my previous position of sitting up and looked around

I know I've never been here before. Where am I? I thought to myself

the room was box like with black pannels on every surface, including the ceiling, and floor

but then I heard footsteps, and someone walked into the room.

"I was wondering how long it would take for you to wake up," The man had a dark and deep voice and wore a dark black mask that matched the walls perfectly and it hid his whole face

"Who...who are you?"

"Who am I?" Well, i suppose you'll find out very soon,"

"How long have I been here?"

Do you not remember, love? "

the man held a wine glass with a bubbly drink inside

are you thirsty? Love ?

'Love' that's what my,

the man finished my scentence

"Mother calls you right."

my mother, she's in on this?

I'm afraid so. Love

why... why

I knew it was probably possible, but I still found it hard to believe

"You'll find out everything soon very soon,"

he turned to walk away

"Wait!"

the man turned towards me

"What?"

"Your name ?"

"You want my name?."

he paused as if he had frozen permanently, but then as i thought he wasn't going to tell me, he said,

"Connor, My name is Conner. "

that's a lovely name

as he said it, it was as if he was gritting his teeth, but it was hard to tell as the mask he wore hid his face from view

"Huh, what? i didn't choose it!"

"Why don't you take your mask off, Conner?"

if I were to do that, you would know who I was it's better if you don't know what I look like. "

why? I said timidly

"Just because ok!"

he turned on his heal and left me locked in the room,switching the light off in the process, however i didn't hear any click from the switch, but there i was sitting in clothes i was foreign of and in a pich black room i knew nothing about leaving me all alone and slamming the door on the way out.

It was terrifying being all alone in a dark room with no lights and not knowing where I was, I was alone I was alone I knew that much but I also knew my mother and farther wouldn't do anything to bail me out especially if they were behind all this.my hands were slick with sweat and my brow was too I tried to calm myself down but nothing was working

I was the product of one night of fun one night that my parents regretted deeply.I hobbled up to the door and fell against it, laying there. I tried to use the opportunity to sleep. Maybe this was just all a big nightmare, a trick my mind was playing on myself, and maybe ill wake-up from it all. i just hope that's soon.

Why do I have to keep her locked up and in the dark?

because she has to be scared, and being locked up is one of her grates' fears along with being alone in the dark

why do you do it then ! She's your daughter! I don't like torturing people who have nothing against me or i against them. "I don't want to do it anymore."

"You will do it, and it will happen with or without you,"

"Fine, do it without me, I don't want to hurt someone who's done nothing wrong." I'm leaving!"

fine Matthew, leave, but don't think we're making you any more Gardem

No! you know who needs that

"Mr. H!" Matthew said in shock

you will stay, and we will manipulate your power, keeping that girl in the dark

or gamble with your life and let her die

"No, I don't want that."

"Then I guess you're staying, am I right?"

"Yes," Connor spoke with such regret in his voice

"Yes, I'll help you."
