Leaving the White Fang pack felt like abandoning a part of my identity. I was still a little sore over the fact that my dad sent us away. Yet, as we drove through the rugged terrain, anticipation bubbled within me, mingling with apprehension and curiosity. Watching Bane's pack welcome us with open arms, entering Shadow Haven stirred a whirlwind of conflicting emotions within me. Leaving behind my role as Commander of the White Fang Pack, I couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, this could be a new beginning for us. At least, a chapter far away from the schemes of Kristopher and his equally horrible father. Setting up Koda's room near ours felt like a tentative step forward, even as doubts lingered at the edges of my mind.
