King Dominic wants to have me as an ally, that is what his boys had said. I don’t need any allies, I don’t trust these creatures, I just can’t deal with any of them. They are so greedy and power-hungry, they take advantage of humans because they are stronger and faster, I just can’t trust any one of them, not after everything I’ve learned about them and their stupid power tussle, not after that stupid king Ashford targeted me for his mindless games.
