Yuan's POV:
I stood there watching her as she continued to serve the people. In the midst of all these sharks, she appeared really vulnerable. Some males were lusting over her, while others were visually undressing her. While she was serving, several people even sought to touch her hand. She appeared to be uneasy.
I only wanted to chop off their hands with their eyeballs and feed the rest to the animals. That was all I wanted. It's true that I've been sitting here staring at her for an hour, but I was under no illusions that I was undressing her. I was in town for business purposes.
The proprietor of this establishment took money from me and then had the audacity to challenge me by refusing to return it. If there's one thing I despise more than anything else, it's liars. According to my sources, he joined my adversary's gang. Seriously, how long do you think it will take them to realize that there is no getting away from Yuan?
I catch a glimpse of her smile, and then the entire room comes alive. She is extremely gorgeous, but she is also really delicate. But it breaks my heart to think that this could be her last night on this planet. Basically, we are here to kill the bar's owner and offer the employees an ultimatum: either work for us or perish in their own homes. If you ask me, that's quite generous.
She turns to face me and moves closer to me.
"Is there anything else you require, Sir?"
Her voice has the texture of velvet. So supple. I took a close look at her tangled fingers. I is apprehensive. She gets a little nervous when I'm around. It's just me.
Somehow, the notion of her with someone else made my heart clench, which was strange because I didn't have a heart to begin with!
"No, that's all. What's your name, by the way?"
Despite the fact that I have read the nameplate, I inquire.
"It's Hera."
Hera.
That is a unique name. However, it is gorgeous.
"That's a gorgeous name for someone who is as stunning as you."
"T-thanks"
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
She appeared to be taken aback by my directness. No other way to describe it is that I'm out of options. I've always been straightforward. Something seemed to pass over her eyes, and I can literally watch her resolve strengthen as she speaks.
"Y-yes"
I am aware that she is deceiving me. I smirk a little. I have not been successful in this company by simply accepting other people's statements. I have a good sense of how people behave. Particularly when they are deceiving you.
"Really? What's his name?"
"Sir, I believe that this is inappropriate at this time. Is it necessary for me to bring your bill?" She inquires, attempting to be courteous.
Yeah. After all, this man is going to die today. What's the harm in trying? It could literally be the final money he receives in his lifetime. Once I get my hands on him, I'll put him through a torturous and long death.
"Okay," I remarked calmly.
She walks away and engages in conversation with another coworker. He appears to be her age, based on his appearance. He responds by telling her something, and she chuckles. When he casually brushes her hand, she doesn't seem to notice.
It appears that they are on the verge of catching up. However, I do not approve of him touching her. Is he really her boyfriend, as she claims?
No, I don't believe that is the case. Every time someone else touched her, she trembled in fear. Perhaps they are only a short distance apart. She returns with my bill in hand. I hand over the money and take a long, hard look at her. She's got those piercing green eyes, and she's got a really slender build.
I think she's a touch too slim.
When you examine closely, it appears that she hasn't eaten in several days.
What the hell is going on?
She then extends her hand to pass the bill to me. When I look down at her hand, I notice a couple of light bruises. This really irritates me. I clench my teeth, but I accept the bill and hand it over to the cashier.
~1 hour later~
"Please don't harm me in any way. I have two children: a son and a girl. My family needs my assistance."
"You should have taken it into consideration before messing with me." "I say. This man is making me irritable. He thinks he can get away with acting all arrogant and high about confronting me, and then play the family card against me when it comes time to pay his debt? I'm well aware of how much his family matters to him in his heart. He cheats on his wife on a daily basis, and I despise people who cheat.
He is currently standing in the middle of the bar, holding a gun to his head. I'm seated in a chair, and all of his staff members have gathered around me. Hera is standing near me. I don't want her to be in any trouble.
Why?
I don't know. But I'm going to find out for sure.
"Yuan, do you think we should feed him to the crocs or the lions?" Kian said, my right-hand guy, best buddy, and in many ways, the only person I can trust.
"We could do one of those things, and we could make a tape and send it to his family," I responded.
"Yeah, what do you want?" Kian asks the guy.
"Please le…"
He is denied the opportunity to complete the sentence. Kian murders him by shooting him in the stomach and then the head with a single round.
Hera's eyes are closed and her face is turned away from me, which I find disturbing. The other guy from the pub is comforting her, and she appears to be in a state of panic.
I'm not able to see it. I took a few steps back and glanced around the room at everyone. I then made an announcement:
"You are all now considered to be eyewitnesses to this homicide. I can't bear the thought of letting you go. Either you work for me or you die in this place with him. "My name is Isaiah Yuan Vintalli," I said, gasping for air, and I will not hesitate to murder you."
Someone from the audience yells out, "You are a killer. You believe you will be able to break away from this....."
I didn't let him do what he was saying. I killed him.
"That's a good example. Are there any more insurgents?"
I took a few steps back and my gaze was drawn to her and him.
"No? Okay, I guess I'll just leave it at that. Kian, you are well aware of what needs to be done."
"Yeah, don't worry. I got it. Boys?"
They are surrounded by all of my men, but one of them advances towards Hera and violently throws her out of the guy's arms and away from him. She starts crying as he grips her by the elbow and she begins to sob. I took a step in the direction of him. No one will be able to hurt her without my permission.
He smirks as he turns around. "Look, boss, this b***h is really lovely to us. The fact that she was receiving so much attention made her feel like the slut that she is."
That's it.
I punched him square on his nose and heard a crack. He falls, but with him she looses balance and bangs her head on the floor. I quickly rushed to her side, picking her up bridal style. She stares at me with wide eyes. Afterwards, she begins to slide away into unconsciousness. Her eyes droop, and she falls to the ground limp.
I was enraged as I looked at the cretin. "You asshole, Is that any way to treat a lady? I swear to you that if anything happens to her, I will f*****g murder you. Do you hear what I'm saying? I'm going to kill you!"
"Yes boss" his voice came like a whisper.
Kian is standing by my side, his eyes wide with curiosity. However, I give him a look that says, "Not now." I dash out of the bar and into my black Audi RS6 sedan. I tell the driver to take me home and then I take a moment to admire the beauty in my arms. She has a number of bruises on her body. I will assassinate anyone who even so much as glances at her. She is mine to keep from this point forward. If you look closely, you can see that she has a faded bruise on her face. She has done an excellent job of keeping it hidden. I gently caress her face with the back of my hand and kiss her on the top of her head to finish.
She triggered emotions in me that I am not accustomed to experiencing.
I took up the phone and dialed Kian's number. " I want you to call a doctor at home to check up on her. Then I'd like you to conduct a background investigation on this. Her name is Hera. Get me any and all information you can get your hands on about her."
"Alright on it."
