I entered Sage’s room, a sense of familiarity washed over me, accompanied by a rush of warmth at the sight of Mathew playing happily. His laughter filled the room, making me smile. Mathew’s eyes lit up with joy as he spotted me, and he rushed into my arms, his tiny arms wrapping around me in a tight embrace. I peppered kisses on his cheek, a surge of love swelling within me as I held him close. “Go to Daddy, sweetheart,” I whispered, pressing a final kiss to his forehead. “Don’t stop for anyone.” With a nod, Mathew darted out of the room, his laughter echoing in the hallway as he made his way to Alpha Dominic’s room.
