I blinked, my eyes open with Mathew next to my side, his eyes gleaming brightly as he called out for me. As I attempted to sit up, a gentle hand steadied me, and I turned to see the oracle. “Easy dear,” the oracle helped. “Sage?” I whispered out. Scanning the room, I was startled to see Alpha Scott and Alpha Dominic present. Confusion prickled at my senses; Alpha Scott and Sage shouldn’t be here. My gaze darted to the oracle, seeking answers, but their expression remained unreadable. Alpha Scott’s face betrayed a hint of concern, while Alpha Dominic’s intense stare bore into me, unsettling me. It wasn’t a nice stare either.
