24 “Are you going to Swallow Point tonight?” Jaime pulled out a chair in the tiny little break room, sitting opposite Mike. “It’s going to be off the hook.” Mike swallowed the last bite of his sandwich. “I doubt it. If pop gets even the faintest whiff of a party, he’ll have me working all night. You know what he’s like.” He crushed the paper bag his sandwich came in and threw it over his head, the ball of paper hitting the edge of the bin, bouncing onto the floor. “That’s okay, we’ll just keep it very hush-hush, then, won’t we?” Jaime opened her bag and took out a tuna sandwich. “Everyone’s gonna be there. You don’t wanna miss out, do you? I’ll get us some beers to take, how about that?” How could he break it to her gently? If he went to Swallow Point, he wouldn’t be spending his time
