Lexie shook her head as she parked the car, just a good distance away from the house and turned to Lucas. “Where did you park the car again?” Lexie asked, frowning slightly at him. Lucas rolled his eyes and removed his seat belt. “Calm down, Miss.” the grumpy sentinel who wasn’t going to admit that he had allied with her, huffed under his breath. “I’ll be right back.” Amd then he was gone for a couple of minutes, leaving lexie to herself.
