Varden drove into the territory at exactly one in the morning. And as soon as he stepped out of the car, he knew Lexie had to be asleep. He wanted to see her. Or at least hold her in his arms. He shut the car door as noiselessly as he could, and was making his way towards the entrance when he saw Leonardo run towards him.
Varden turned, changing his direction so he could meet Leonardo halfway.
“Alpha Varden.” Leonardo said the moment he stopped in front of Varden, bowing his head.
