“Is this where you’ve always gone to church?” she asked.
“Trent’s dad and I were married in this church and the boys were raised going here,” Amanda replied. “We’ve had three pastors during the time we’ve come here, and we loved each of them. We have good friends here, people who stand by us in good times and bad times. That’s something I never take for granted,” Amanda said.
“It also has secret passages that kids love to explore,” Trent said as he maneuvered the car into a parking space in the lot behind the church.
