Bella.
"Bella where are you?" I heard Nova yell. I had been wandering around in boredom and ended up helping mom with the laundry.
"Im in the backyard." I yelled back and continued hanging up clean and fresh bed sheets and duvet cover on the the hanger outside so it would sundry in the beautiful warm weather we had today. I didn't mind doing housework, it was also the reason I had accepted my moms request when she asked me to help her the first day in the villa.
"Watcha doing?" Nova came in between the already hung laundry. "Where's your mom?" She looked around and didn't see her anywhere.
"She's inside washing some more clothes. Wanna help? It's actually quite fun and relaxing." I took another one, shake it and hang it on the wire. I knew see was still behind the sheet but it was so quiet I just had to mess with her to open up the mood. I held the corner up and looked at her teasingly. "Or is it too hard for little miss spoiled to do simple servant tasks?"
"Haha, very funny. Spoiled my ass, all get you for that" She started to run after me and I had to hide between the sheets, the laughter filled the yard. I had to take one of the sheets trying to wave her off.
"Stay away or I’ll have to summon the ghost. And believe me I will” she stopped and looked at me with a puzzled expression.
“Ghost?” But before she could say anything else I took the nearest sheet from the hanger and threw it at her so it ended up covering all of her. And then I ran, I ran like my whole life depended on it while laughing my ass off.
“What’s going on here?”
“I saw a ghost so I ran, like who would stay? What was I supposed to do? Stop and talk to it? Ask it how it’s like to be dead and what a lovely weather we have to day?” I couldn’t stop laughing. She walked over and
“Run along girls, looks like I have had enough help for today.” She shakes her head and walks to the basket and starts to hang the rest of the sheets up. “By the way, Damon was looking for you girls saying something about driving to the mall, but since you girls wasn’t by the door as planned he was thinking about leaving without you.”
“Oh, I forgot I was coming to get you” said Nova suddenly standing beside me. When did she come here? She was just under the sheet on the other side of the yard a moment ago. But before I could ask her, had she grabbed my arm and was now pulling me after her in the backdoor. "You where the one who wanted to go to the hair dresser, so hurry up now or he will change is mind." I could hear the panic in her voice, but I knew it wasn't because she was afraid of him. She was afraid of missing the opportunity of being close to him.
"we are here, sorry I lost the track of time." Nova stumbled in with me right behind, stoping right before Damon who stood by the door with his arms cross.
"Hi Damon, thank you for taking us. I really appreciate it I desperately need this hairdressing appointment, or help me god I will go nuts." I folded my hands and bowed down to really look like I was grateful off him take time for this. "It's my fault for being late, I started helping my mom with the laundry and Nova was really helpful and helped me. She really is wonderful. "I turned around and winked at Nova, signalling that I was trying to put her in good lights before him.
"Well it's kinda my job you know." He answered carelessly and opened the front door and walked out.
"Such a charmer." I said and rolled my eyes and walked after him and walked straight to the car parked in front of the house. Damon was already standing there opening up the passenger door for us and closed it right after Nova had gotten inside. She was looking down so she didn't see it, but I didn't miss the the crooked smile he gave when he looked at her right before closing the door. They are so frustrating. He likes her, she likes him but neither is trying anything. Seriously I have to do something, just something in order to get some speed in this way to slow what ever they call this. I personally call it stupidity.
The car ride to the salon was awkwardly quiet and you could almost hear a pin drop if it wasn't for that we where driving a car and it had pillows everywhere and rubber mats on the floors, that would silenced the fall if a pin had fallen. Well, you know what am trying to say.
I crept studying them the whole ride. How see would look at him and when she finally took her eyes off him, then he would look at her in the mirror. One time they ad been caught by each other and they both had averted their eyes just as fast. Children, that’s what they were, stupid innocent children.
You girls can go out and go from here. All find a parking space and then join you girls in the salon, ok?” He turn around to face us and waited for us to answer.
“Yes sir” I answered and gave him a salute witch earned me a snort from Nova. I had to bit my lip not to burst out laughing from the sound coming from her.
“Love the dedication, now get out of the car.” He turned forward again and watched his phone and the moment we were out. He speeds of towards the parking lot make us just standing there watching his back lights getting smaller.
“Well, that was fun” I gave her a smile while laughing. I took her arm and started to walk towards the salon door.
“Shut up” she mumbles witch only mad my laugh even more.
