A month later
"When was the last time you went for your antenatal?". I asked Diana, as she sat across my table, admiring her well manicured nails.
Her eyes shot up at me, as she cleared her throat. "I…I..it was last week". She stammered, using her hand to straightening out her hair.
I squinted my eyes, staring at her, dead in the eyes. She looked anywhere apart from my eyes. We were interrupted by a knock on the door.
"Come in". I called out, still looking at Diana. Lilan walked in with a bowl of pawpaw and set it in front of Diana. Then another knock came in.
"Just come in". I sighed, sliding my hand over my face but this time it was, Dorothy who walked in.
"Sir, the meeting with Gredyln is in thirty….". She paused when she saw Diana holding a fork fil
