The Big Box

Grandma laid there. I wonder when she's going to get up. I asked Mommy, but she didn't say anything. Grandma laid in a big box. She was sleeping for a long time. I want her to wake up now. I want to go on more adventures with her. Mommy says that Grandma isn't going to be able to go on adventures with me anymore.

Mommy cried again, but I didn't hug her this time. My hugs aren't magic anymore. They wouldn't work. Mommy said I couldn’t bring Sally. But, all we did was watch Grandma sleep for a long time. I don’t think Sally would have liked it here anyway
