Alaris grabbed Julie's hand and led her out of the palace.
"Don't go!"
A chase ensued. Alaris grabbed Julie and ran as hard as he could.
"I won't let you live!" Ellen stretched out both hands and unleashed an attack on Alaris and Julie.
Not wanting to retaliate against his wife, Alaris chose to use the power of disappearance.
Cling.
"Damn. He took that cheap woman to disappear." Ellen lowered both hands and returned to the palace.
Alaris took Julie to an empty house in a forest.
"While you rest here first, this place will be a safe place for you for now." Alaris laid Julie down on an old bed.
Alaris took out some food and drink that Julie needed. "Here, eat and drink! You need to eat a lot and rest."
"My body hurts so much. I feel like I'm going to die." Julie whimpered in pain.
"Hang in there, Julie! This will all pass." Alaris tried to calm Julie down.
"But what about me later? My body feels strange. Look!" Julie showed some parts of her body that were starting to develop fur.
"White wolf fur? No way." Alaris was surprised.
"Julie, your eyeballs?"
"What's wrong with my eyeballs?"
"Your eyeballs have turned red."
In that instant, Alaris saw many changes in Julie. Julie's body scent was no longer a human body scent but a wolf body scent.
"Aaaaa! My stomach...!" Julie groaned in pain while holding her stomach.
Julie's stomach suddenly grew rapidly.
"Julie! How is this? What should I do?"
Alaris then felt something coming towards her. "Fresh blood. Give fresh blood to Julie." Alaris got a whisper out of nowhere.
"That whisper? Is it from the wolf who fought me last time and told me?" Alaris then went to the center of the forest to hunt for fresh blood.
"Come on, show up, you wild beast!" Alaris sniffed her nose.
Not long after, the man who was an Alpha smelled the odor of wild animals. "I finally got it."
Alaris chased the beast and pounced on it. After the beast died, Alaris took the beast home and gave it to Julie.
"Julie, I'm back. Julie? Where have you been?" Alaris was surprised to see Julie not on the bed.
Just then, Alaris heard a sound from inside the room. "What is that sound?" Alaris ran towards the room.
"Julie! What are you doing?" Alaris was surprised to see a lot of blood in Julie's mouth.
"What did you eat?"
"I was very hungry, sir. I saw a lot of wild rats roaming around in this house. For some reason, I wanted to chase and eat them."
"But that's not your food; this is." Alaris handed Julie a carcass that still had plenty of fresh blood on it.
"Fresh blood and meat? I really like it." Quickly, Julie ate the meat and sucked the fresh blood savagely.
Alaris looked at Julie with pity. "This is all because of me."
Whether Julie realized it or not, the Julie of now was not the Julie of then.
"Are you feeling better?" Alaris approached Julie.
"Yeah, I feel much better."
Hearing what Julie said, Alaris felt both happy and sad.
Julie, I can't stay here for long. I have to go back to the palace because there is something I have to finish. I promise to come back here to see you as soon as I am done with it." Alaris held Julie's hand tightly.
"Is the master going to see Miss Ellen?"
From Julie's gaze, Alaris knew that his maid felt like he was being insincere.
"I'm sorry, Julie. No matter what, she is still my wife, and I must see her soon. I promise to come back here as soon as possible." Alaris tried to reassure Julie.
"I'm waiting for you, sir." Julie said it with a heavy heart.
Alaris kissed Julie's forehead and then walked out.
Squeak.
Alaris locked the door from the outside.

"Why did you come back here? You traitor!" Ellen's anger flared up again when she saw Alaris returning to the palace.
"I apologize, my dear. I can explain slowly."
"What are you going to explain? Everything is clear. You think I don't have the power to see through your mistreatment during my absence from the palace? You are very wrong, Alaris. I already know everything. You savage!" Ellen opened her mouth and unleashed the power to attack Alaris.
"Aaaaa!" Alaris fell down in pain.
"All this time, I thought everything was fine, but I was wrong. You took advantage of my absence and f****d that slut." Ellen walked over to her husband. Ellen's eyes lit up. Her mouth hissed.
"Honey, what are you going to do?" Alaris tried to get up.
"I will not forgive someone who has betrayed me. Whoever it is, including my own husband, Khaaaa..." Ellen attacked Alaris for the second time.
"Aaaaawww..." Alaris' body bounced off the wall.
"This is nothing; this is the power I'm expending. Do you want to test this power that your wife has, O traitor?" Ellen continued to hiss and stared intently at Alaris' face.
"No, my dear. Stop it, please!" Alaris deliberately did not reply to Ellen.
"What? You want me to stop this attack? What I did is nothing compared to the betrayal you did to me. In fact, you had that illicit relationship not just once, right?" Ellen clenched her fists and resisted the urge to hurt her husband even more.
Knock...! Knock...!
"Who would dare to knock on the door when it's like this?"
"Sorry, Miss. Mrs. Lamia is here."
"What? Mum's here?"

"What is that sound? Like footsteps. Has the Master returned?" Julie got up from her sleep and walked towards the door.
But Julie's footsteps stopped when she smelled a stranger's body odor. "He's not a master? Then who is it?"
Julie walked backwards. Julie's fear grew even more when the person tried to forcibly enter the house.
Braaakk.
The door opened with a bang.
"Julie, I finally found you."
"Max?" Julie's eyes widened when she saw the man suddenly standing in front of her. "How did you know I was here?"
"What can't I do to find out where you went? I missed you so much, Julie." Max walked over.
"But, Max? I-"
Max's footsteps stopped when he realized that there was something unusual about Julie.
"Who changed you like this?" Max's eyes lit on Julie's growing belly. "What's going on with you?"
"I'm sorry, Max."
"Who got you pregnant, Julie? Why did you do that when I could only hold back all this time? Didn't I say that you should wait for me to come back from out of town? After that, I would marry you."
"Again, I'm sorry, Max. I was forced to do that." Julie looked down.
"Who forced you? Does he not value me as your lover at all?"
"He..."
"Who is he?"
"He is my boss in the palace."
"What? This can't be allowed. I must go see him."
"Don't!" Julie held Max back as he was about to leave by pulling his arm, causing him to hurt his arm.
"Aaaww! Julie? You grabbed my arm?"
"Oops. Sorry, Max. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just..."
"That power you have is not possessed by a human. Do you?" Max sniffed Julie's body and watched her once more.
"No way."
Max also smelled carrion. "Are you a wolf now?"
"I don't know, Max. Things just suddenly turned out this way."
"That bastard wolf can't be helped." Max walked away from Julie.
"Max? Where are you going? No!"
